WHY CHOOSE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE?

Comprehensive Healthcare has been serving the central Florida community for over 27 years in the same location in Altamonte Springs, FL. Our physicians began studying regenerative medicine 14 years ago as a way to better serve our patients. We began offering regenerative medicine to the public over 5 years ago and on average, we treat over 50 patients each month. That means you can rest easy and know you’re in skilled hands. While focusing on Regenerative Medicine, we found there are many aesthetic procedures that complement our mission to helping others look and feel their best naturally. Our medical weight loss department makes sure our patients feel their best, feel confident and alleviate joint pain that can come with being overweight.

Am I a good candidate for your Regenerative Cellular Therapy program?

Our typical patient is experiencing some level of joint pain or discomfort. Some patients are athletes or have labor intensive occupations and they treat their body preventatively. Many qualifiable patients have been told by their orthopedic doctor that their only option is surgery or pain management. We have often helped those facing these traditional methods overcome their joint pain and discomfort without the need for drugs or surgery. Many patients have undergone surgical interventions only to find the pain has returned. Even if you have been told that you are “bone on bone” we may have an option for you. We often help these patients address their problems once and for all. We can offer you a comprehensive evaluation to determine if you are or are not a good candidate for this therapy. What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative Medicine is a branch of translational research in tissue engineering and molecular biology which deals with the “process of replacing, engineering or regenerating human cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function. As we age our bodies lose the ability to repair or replace damaged tissues/cells at the same pace as when we were young. Remember how easily you overcame injury as a child? As we age the littlest bump or bruise and take days, weeks, or even years to heal. We utilize young robust growth factors and regenerative cells to aid the body in correcting the root cause of your symptoms.

Is the therapy painful?

Most patients only experience very little discomfort as these are simple injections directly focused in the area or areas of pain/injury.

How long does the treatment take?

Most treatments can be performed in approx. 15 mins. More complex cases may take a little more time. Your provider will give you an estimated time needed to complete your specific therapy, with many patients treating same day!

Is there any downtime?

Most patients experience little or no downtime whatsoever, walk out of the clinic and drive themselves home and go about the tasks of daily living immediately. We provide each patient with a Pre and Post Procedural booklet to assist in nurturing the specific are or areas which were treated. We also proved post procedural advice and guidance by staying involved with each patient.

How does regenerative medicine work?

The regenerative tissues are intended to be used as a cushioning agent while providing support for the degenerative area. These tissues also have anti-inflammatory properties which help achieve homeostasis (balance) in the body making it more conducive to healing.

What is the desired lead time to schedule my injection following a consultation?

Since Comprehensive Healthcare keeps inventory cryopreserved on site, you may receive your injection during the same visit as long as you meet certain pre-injections qualifications.

Will I have to miss work or activities?

Most patients do not experience any downtime. If your activities are damaging or traumatic to the tissue which was treated it will be advisable to refrain from such activities to prevent further damage. We also provide post procedural guidance to help you nurture the area or areas treated.

How often will I need treatment? Can I add a booster to the area at a later date?

This depends on the complexity of the condition as well as how well your body corrects the condition post procedurally. Most patients have been able to overcome their injury after just one procedure. Boosters can be added as this is not a cytotoxic drug. This is a natural approach and is beneficial to the body.

What other regenerative medicine treatments do you offer?

While regenerative medicine therapies for joints is what our practice is best known for, we do offer other services. We offer aesthetic services, like our non-surgical face lift and facials, hair restoration, men and women’s sexual health and wellness services, as well as help treat women for urinary incontinence. Our facility also offers Physician Guided Weight Loss. If you’ve been struggling with your weight for some time, or recently gained weight, we can help you shed pounds and inches!
